Refund & Cancellation Policy

​Weekly resident-family rate: $1,100 + tax (downstairs apartment).
Deposit: 50% at booking to confirm dates.
Balance: Due 30 days before arrival.

 

Cancellations

  • All payments are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive trip insurance.

  • If you cancel, payments may be credited toward a future available week at Serene Scene (subject to calendar availability; current rates/taxes apply).

  • No-shows and early departures are not refundable.

 

Weather, Ferries & Force Majeure

Island life can include storms, ferry/airline delays, and utility interruptions beyond our control. If the apartment is uninhabitable, payments may be credited to a future stay. Cash refunds are not offered for weather or transportation-related disruptions.

 

Utilities & Island Services

Occasional interruptions to power, water, or internet can occur on St. John. We respond promptly, but service interruptions do not qualify for refunds.

 

Date Changes (Rebooking)

  • Your paid amount becomes a credit toward a new available week.

  • One courtesy date change is typical; additional changes may incur an administrative fee.
